Affordable Therapy
Affordable therapy by trained & supervised Intern Therapists
You shouldn’t have to wait until you have a bigger budget or more insurance coverage to start therapy.
For those who are looking for mental and emotional support on a regular basis and who are facing financial challenges, there is always the option of low-cost therapy. At $65 for an online session and $95 for an in-person session, you will receive therapy for less than half of the cost of full-price sessions.
Low-cost therapy may be suitable for you if you are:
Age 16+
Currently facing financial challenges or on a limited income
Facing issues related to anxiety, depression, stress/burnout, low motivation, relationship concerns, life transitions, perfectionism/self-criticism, low self-esteem/confidence, and/or trauma
How low-cost therapy works:
Therapy is provided by our team of Intern Therapists: Master’s graduate level students who have completed their academic education in Counselling Psychology, in training to provide therapy using various evidence-based modalities, and are supervised throughout their work with clients.
Intern Therapists bring a fresh perspective to their sessions, with knowledge about the latest research on therapeutic treatments.
Working with an Intern Therapist means being supported by a team, as these therapists receive clinical supervision from an experienced Registered Psychotherapist as well as consultation from the Clinical Director.
At the end of your therapist’s internship, you will have the choice to continue working with them at their graduated rate or continue low-cost therapy with another Intern Therapist.
